Academic Technology Services & User Support (ATSUS) helps faculty and others involved in the academic mission of the university integrate information technology and instruction through researching and consulting on new developments in IT, as well as by providing resources, support, and training to instructors throughout the university. Faculty Support Services can help you integrate instructional technology tools and practices into your courses.
Our services include: course & research web sites, Blackboard, audio-video-podcasting for instruction, online surveys and quizzes, course communication-collaboration tools, i-Clicker classroom response "polling" systems. We also provide training and individual consultations about the technology options available for your courses.
This fall, CIT is sponsoring a pilot project to evaluate Moodle, a course management system (CMS) used by many schools as an alternative to Blackboard. For more information about the pilot, please visit the project wiki at https://confluence.cornell.edu/display/MOODLE/.
