Cornell TV channels are delivered to your desktop via the on-campus IP network (Cornell TV is not available on the wireless network or from off campus). Currently, channels include Scola, NASA TV, Central China TV-4, and Bloomberg Television. We are planning to add several channels, including some that will be produced locally.
VideoLAN's VLC open-source media player for Macintosh and PC is used for Cornell TV playback. Cornell TV can be played in Firefox or Safari browsers or in the standalone VLC viewer. At this time, Cornell TV cannot be played in Windows Media Player, and other viewers that don't read MPEG-2, and it cannot be played in Internet Explorer.
