Hey there! Thanks for participating in the iPad loaner program.
Your iPad comes with the following:
AirSketch – For presentation. After you connect to the URL provided by AirSketch, you can display pdfs, images, a whiteboard, etc on the iPad, and a computer connected to the same URL will mirror the iPad display.
Air Display – Acts as a second monitor to your computer.
Goodreader – For reading, organizing and annotating PDFs.
Pages – Word processor.
Keynote – Slide presentation.
Explain Everything – Easy-to-use design tool that lets you annotate, animate, and narrate explanations and presentations. Creates dynamic, interactive lessons.
Evernote – Take notes/pictures/audio recordings/screen clippings and have access to them from any device including iOS, Mac, PC, Android.
Box – Store, share, comment and collaborate on documents. Works with Cornell’s Box if you log on to the site through a PC or Mac first.
Blackboard Mobile Learn – Connect to Blackboard from the iPad.
Doceri – For presentation. Control your computer remotely (and wirelessly) from your iPad, or create presentations directly on your iPad. This free version is primarily for demo, since the computer that it is attached to will display a “Doceri Trial” watermark; to remove the watermark, purchase the app for $30. The license will be transferable if you choose to purchase an iPad in the future.
You are able to login to your iPad using iCloud and your own Apple ID. This will enable you to download or purchase apps that aren’t currently installed. The download will be linked to your personal iCloud account meaning you can install them on iPads you own. You must have an iCloud account to download free or paid apps.
